Day 01: (Saturday) ARRIVE EGYPT
Arrive Cairo, clear immigration and customs then staff will transfer you to the Cairo Marriott or the Kempinski Nile hotel.
At either hotel you will have a Deluxe Nile view room. Overnight Cairo

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt are required to obtain a visa for entry. Citizens of certain countries can currently obtain one on arrival however this is subject to change without notice.

Day 02: (Sunday) EGYPTIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM, FLY TO LUXOR
Enjoy an international buffet breakfast and check out before visiting the Egyptian National Museum featuring King Tut's treasures. Visit the Royal Mummy room. Afterwards Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel or the Maritim Kings Island Resort. At either you will have a Deluxe Nile view room. Overnight Luxor (Buffet Breakfast)
Optional: Sound and Light show at Karnak Temple $40 per person (minimum of two)

Day 03: (Monday) CRUISE, TEMPLES OF KARNAK AND LUXOR
International buffet breakfast, check out, Staff will meet you for transfer to your Deluxe Five Star Nile Cruiser, the M/S Amarco I or the Premier cruiser, M/S Saint George*. Lunch on board then visit the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak. Dinner followed by Evening entertainment (please check with reception for the program schedule). Overnight Luxor (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Optional Tour of West bank sites not included in cruise: $95 per person (includes the Valley of the Queens, the tombs of the nobles and artisans, Medinet Habu, Ramessium)

Day 04: (Tuesday) NECROPOLIS OF THEBES, CRUISE TO EDFU
Tour Luxor's Necropolis of Thebes including the
Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour return to the ship for lunch while cruising to Esna. Cross the river lock and continue cruising to Edfu. Dinner. Evening entertainment (please check with reception for the program schedule). Overnight Edfu (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 05: (Wednesday) TEMPLE OF HORUS, TEMPLE OF TWO GODS, CRUISE TO ASWAN
Tour of the Temple of Horus in Edfu. After touring return to the ship for lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival in Kom Ombo visit the Temple of Two Gods. Dinner while sailing to Aswan. Overnight Aswan (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 06: (Thursday) HIGH DAM, TEMPLE OF PHILAE, UNFINISHED OBELISK, FELUCCA
Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk. Lunch on board then in the afternoon FREE BONUS: Sail on the Nile by Felucca (native sailboat). (Please note that these boats are solely wind powered, if there is no wind this will not operate). Dinner on board. Overnight Aswan (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Optional excursion to Abu Simbel

Day 07: (Friday) FLY TO CAIRO, GIZA PYRAMIDS, SOLAR BOAT
Disembark. Staff will transfer you to the airport and assist with checking in for a flight to Cairo. Arriving, Visit the Giza Plateau featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. Tour the Solar Boat museum. After the tour staff will transfer you to the Mena House hotel where you will enjoy a pyramid view garden room. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
OPTIONAL sound and light show at the pyramids ($40 per person)

JORDAN

Day 08: (Saturday) FLY TO AMMAN, JERASH, DEAD SEA
Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your flight to Amman. Arriving staff assists with clearing immigration and customs then enjoy a tour to Jerash, the best preserved of all the Roman Decapolis cities. Continue to the shore of the Dead Sea where you will overnight at the Kempinski Ishtar Resort with a Deluxe Sea view room. Overnight Jordan (Buffet Breakfast)

VISAS: All travelers to Jordan must have a visa. USA citizens can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get yours on arrival.

Day 09: (Sunday) KING'S HIGHWAY TO MADABA, MT. NEBO, KERUK, PETRA
Drive along the 5,000 year old Kings Highway to
Madaba (the city of Mosaics) and Mt. Nebo, where Moses looked on the promised land. Continue to Keruk to see the Crusader castle then on to Petra where you will have a Deluxe room at the Movenpick Petra right at the entrance to the "Rose Red City". Overnight Petra (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 10: (Monday) PETRA REVEALED
Guided full day walking tour to enjoy
Petra and surrounding sites. Overnight Petra (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 11: (Tuesday) INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Staff will transfer you to the Amman airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure. (meals on the flight)

EGYPT TOUR INCLUDES: Domestic flights in Egypt in coach (economy) class. Flight from Cairo to Amman in coach (economy) class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 1 piece of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour (baggage handling does NOT include tips for bellmen, porters, etc.). Hotels (based on double occupancy). 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with outside Nile view cabin, private bath, individual climate control. Meals as noted. Included meals are in the main dining room, no speciality restaurants are included. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes. NOTE: During any of our small group tours people may join or leave at various times, however at no time would any group be larger than 8 travelers. We can provide private tours with an additional supplement. The cost depends on the tour chosen.

NOT included are: INTERNATIONAL AIR (except one way flight from Cairo to Amman in economy class), air ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, items of a personal nature such as tips, entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry, beverages of any nature at any time, any items not specifically covered in the included items.

JORDAN TOUR INCLUDES: All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Amman. Laundry in Egypt

All hotels and the cruises have laundry/dry cleaning available.

Laundry in before 9AM is back at 6PM.
Laundry in after 9AM is back the following day.
Rush laundry is generally available at 50% more cost.
Dry cleaning is available with prices about the same as laundry.
Children's clothes are generally 50% of the adult cost.

Drinks with Meals

No drinks are included in tour prices. Some hotels and cruises give one bottle of water free daily others do not. As a general guide you could expect to pay:
Bottled water at hotels or on the cruise: $1 to $3 for a small bottle, $2.50-$5 for a large bottle.
NOTE: This is filtered water. If you order perrier it will cost more.
Coffee or Tea: 50 cents
Soft drinks (Coke, Pepsi, etc): $1 each
Alcoholic drinks:
Local beer: $3 per bottle
Imported beer: $5 to $8 per bottle
Wine: local $4 to $6 per glass. imported will be more $$.
Liquor: local $5 per cocktail + cost of mixer (soft drink, juice, etc), imported $8-$15 per cocktail + cost of mixer)
ICE: In the hotels and on the cruise the ice is prepared from filtered water.

Guaranteed Weekly Departures

EGYPT & JORDAN TOUR COSTS:
May through September*: $2675 per person, double occupancy
Single supplement: +$450
NO triples allowed except sharing with children under 12
*September tours must end no later than September 30 to get the low season rate.

October through April (excluding holidays): $2995 per person, double occupancy
Single supplement: +$650
NO triples allowed except sharing with children under 12

Holiday (Christmas, New Year, Easter): $3430 per person, double occupancy
Single supplement: +$800
NO triples allowed except sharing with children under 12

*Upgrade to St. George Premier cruise +$275 per person in a double cabin or +$400 in a single cabin.

Children under 12 years sharing room with two adults: 75% of seasonal adult fare. (triples are allowed with children under 12).

Tours must be booked at least 45 days prior to arrival.
Prices and itinerary subject to change without notice.

Single Price is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional cost.
