Tours to Egypt should be relaxing and our Egypt tours are fully escorted from your arrival to Cairo. You will be part of a small group for this visit to Egypt, not herded around, thus allowing the time to absorb and experience the history and culture of one of the world's great treasures.
Antiquity sites you will tour include the Giza plateau, featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. The Egyptian Museum of antiquities where you will marvel at King Tut's treasures. Temples along the Nile from Aswan to Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and more are all part of your tour of Egypt. All costs associated with these visits including transportation, entry fees, guide, service charges and taxes are already included in the tour price.
Your hotels are first class and you will enjoy the comfort of superior or deluxe rooms. On the cruise your cabin will be located on the upper decks where you will have panoramic views of the Nile. Included meals are giant international buffet breakfasts daily plus lunch and dinner while on the cruise.
01: (Saturday) ARRIVAL TO CAIRO
Arriving Cairo staff assists with clearing immigration and customs then transfers you to the Cairo Marriott or the Hilton Zamalek. Overnight Cairo
VISAS: All travelers to Egypt are required to obtain a visa for entry. Citizens of certain countries can currently obtain one on arrival however this is subject to change without notice. The best thing is to obtain your visa in advance. In most countries these can be obtained from an Egyptian consulate.
Day 02: (Sunday) EGYPTIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM, FLY TO LUXOR
Spend the day on a guided tour of the Egyptian
National Museum featuring King
Tut's treasures. Afterwards staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel or the Maritim Kings Island Resort where you will have a Nile view room. Overnight Luxor (Buffet breakfast)

03: (Monday) CRUISE, TEMPLES OF KARNAK AND LUXOR
Staff will meet you at the hotel lobby for transfer to your Deluxe Five Star Nile Cruiser, the M/S Amarco I (or upgrade to the Premier cruiser, M/S Saint George*). Lunch on board then visit the East Bank of Luxor including the Temple of Luxor and Temple of Karnak. Dinner followed by Evening entertainment (please check with reception for the program schedule). 04: (Tuesday) NECROPOLIS OF THEBES, CRUISE TO EDFU
Enjoy a tour of Luxor's Necropolis of Thebes including the Valley
of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi
of Memnon. After the tour return to the ship for lunch while cruising to Esna. Cross the river lock and continue cruising to Edfu. Dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Cruise / Edfu (Buffet breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
05: (Wednesday) TEMPLE OF HORUS, TEMPLE OF TWO GODS, CRUISE TO ASWAN
Tour the Temple
of Horus, the best preserved of all the Nile temples. Have lunch while cruising to Kom Ombo. Evening guided tour of the Temple of two gods. The building is unique because its double design means that there are courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Dinner while cruising to Aswan. St. Simeons camel trek: Travel by Felucca to the West bank of the Nile to board your ship of the desert (camel) for a short ride to St. Simeon's Monastery ruins. $60 per person (minimum of two)

07: (Friday) FLY TO CAIRO, GIZA PLATEAU FEATURING THE GREAT PYRAMID AND SPHINX
Disembark the cruise. Staff will transfer you to the airport and assist with checking in for a flight to Cairo. Arriving, visit the Giza Plateau featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. After the tour staff will transfer you to the Mena House Hotel where you will enjoy a Pyramid view garden room. Overnight Cairo (Buffet breakfast)

08: (Saturday) INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure. (Meals on the flight)

Bottled water at hotels or on the cruise: $1 to $3 for a small bottle, $2.50-$5 for a large bottle.
NOTE: This is filtered water. If you order perrier it will cost more.

Soft drinks (Coke, Pepsi, etc): $1 each
