01 (Monday) ARRIVAL
Arrive Cairo, clear immigration and customs then staff will transfer you to the Four Seasons Nile Plaza where you will have a Nile View Corniche suite.
VISAS: All travelers to Egypt are required to obtain a visa for entry. Citizens of certain countries can currently obtain one on arrival however this is subject to change without notice.
Day 02 (Tuesday) SAKKARA, DAHSHUR, MEMPHIS
Tour Sakkarra with the famous step pyramid including entry to the elaborate tombs of Mereruka (vizier to king Teti) and the recently opened tomb of Maia (King Tut's wet nurse and maybe half sister). Dahshur with the first of the stone pyramids (the Bent and the Red), Imhotep museum (architect of the first stone pyramids) and Memphis, the ruins of the ancient capital. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
03 (Wednesday) GIZA PLATEAU
Start the day at the Pyramids at Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Visit the inscrutable Sphinx and the solar boat museum plus newly opened pyramids of the queens and tombs of the nobles. In the evening attend the Giza sound and light show. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
04 (Thursday) OLD CAIRO, CITADEL, GAYER ANDERSON MUSEUM
Tour Old Cairo with it's famous churches and synagogue plus the Citadel of Salah el Din (bane of the crusaders) and the Alabaster mosque. Visit the famous Gayer Anderson house museum, two connected homes built in 1540 and 1632, lovingly restored and featuring period furnishings. You may remember the Gayer Anderson from the opening scenes of the James Bond movie "The Spy who loved me". Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
05 (Friday) EGYPTIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM, KHAN EL KHALILI BAZAAR
Tour the Egyptian National Museum featuring King Tut's treasures including entry to the Royal Mummies room. Afterwards visit the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
06 (Saturday) FLY TO LUXOR, KARNAK SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW
Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in for a flight to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the famous Winter Palace hotel where you will have a Nile View suite. In the evening attend the Karnak sound and light show. Overnight Luxor (Buffet Breakfast)
07 (Sunday) TEMPLE OF HATHOR, TEMPLE OF KARNAK AND TEMPLE OF LUXOR
Enjoy a tour of the temple of Hathor at Dendarah located about 1 hour's drive north of Luxor. Returning to Luxor visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Overnight Luxor (Buffet Breakfast)
08 (Monday) LUXOR MUSEUM, BOARD CRUISE
This morning tour the Luxor Museum then staff transfers you to board your luxury Dahabiya, the Feddya. The Feddya features a total of four contemporarily designed suites, each with a different color scheme and design, as well as a dedicated butler ready to serve you any time of day. The suites range in size between 236 square feet and 258 square feet. Each suite features a 86 square foot balcony or patio with stunning views of the river Nile. Standard amenities in the four suites include: individually controlled air conditioning, private bathroom with shower, satellite LCD TV, in-house video channel, minibar and in-room coffee and tea making facilities. 09 (Tuesday) NECROPOLIS OF THEBES
Tour the Necropolis of Thebes (West bank of the Nile) where you will explore the Valley of the Kings (including entry to King Tut's tomb), Valley of the Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Ramessium, the tombs of the nobles and artisans plus the Temple of Medinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon. 10 (Wednesday) ESNA, EL HEGZ ISLAND ANCHORAGE
Sail to Esna and cross the river lock. Sail to El Hegz Island. Overnight Yacht / El Hegz Island (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
11 (Thursday) EL KAB, TEMPLE OF HORUS, RAMADI VILLAGE
Sail to El Kab and visit El Kab Temple. Lunch on board while sailing to Edfu. Visit the Horus Temple in Edfu, the best preserved of all the Nile temples. Return to the boat then sail to Ramadi Village. Overnight Yacht/ Ramadi (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
12 (Friday) EL SELSELA, TEMPLE OF TWO GODS, FADL ISLAND
Sail to Gabal El Selsela and visit the temples and ruins of this major Pharaonic quarry. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by two gods. The temple is unique because its double design means that there are courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the boat for lunch then sail to El Sheikh Fadl island. Overnight Yacht / Fadl Island (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
13 (Saturday) ASWAN, HIGH DAM, PHILAE TEMPLE, UNFINISHED OBELISK
Sail to Aswan and moor near the Aswan bridge. Visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Pharaoh's granite quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk. Overnight Yacht / Aswan (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
14 (Sunday) ABU SIMBEL, BOTANICAL GARDENS, ELEPHANTINE
Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Abu Simbel on Egyptair with your private guide. Visit the famous temples of Ramses then return to Aswan. Enjoy an afternoon visit to the garden Island (Kitchner's botanical gardens) and Elephantine Island. Overnight Yacht / Aswan (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
15 (Monday) FLY TO CAIRO
Staff transfers you to the airport for a flight to Cairo. Arriving staff transfers you to the Four Seasons Hotel where you will enjoy a Nile view suite. Overnight Cairo (Breakfast)
16 (Tuesday) INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure. (meals on the flight)
