01 (Sunday) ARRIVAL, VILLA BELLE EPOQUE HOTEL
Arriving Cairo staff assists with clearing immigration and customs then transfers you to the Villa Belle Epoque where you will have a Deluxe room. Overnight Cairo
VISAS: All travelers to Egypt are required to obtain a visa for entry. Citizens of certain countries can currently obtain one on arrival however this is subject to change without notice. The best thing is to obtain your visa in advance. In most countries these can be obtained from an Egyptian consulate.
Day 02 (Monday) SAQQARA, DAHSHUR, MEMPHIS
Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 8:30AM for a tour of Saqqara with the famous stepped pyramid (including entry to the elaborate tombs of Mereruka, vizier to king Teti and the recently opened tomb of Maia (King Tut's wet nurse and maybe half sister). Dahshur with the first of the stone pyramids (the Bent and the Red) including Imhotep museum (architect of the first stone pyramids) and the ruins of the ancient capital, Memphis. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
03 (Tuesday) GIZA PLATEAU
Depart the hotel at 9AM with your guide for the Giza plateau where you will see the Great pyramid and the Sphinx plus the Solar boat museum and the newly opened tombs of the nobles and pyramids of the queens. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)

04 (Wednesday) MUSEUM OF ANTIQUITIES, ROYAL MUMMIES ROOM, OLD CAIRO
CThe Museum of Egyptian Antiquities is home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. The highlight of the collection is considered to be the tomb artifacts of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun, whose almost intact tomb Howard Carter found in the Valley of the Kings in 1922. The museum's Royal Mummy Room, contains royal mummies from pharaonic times.
The fortress city known as Babylon is the oldest part of Cairo. Built by the Romans, the fort was in a strategic position to dominate Egypt along the Nile. Persecution led Coptic Egyptians to take refuge within the fortifications. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
05 (Thursday) CITADEL, GAYER ANDERSON MUSEUM, FLY TO LUXOR, AL MOUDIRA HOTEL
Salah El-Din Citadel is one of the world’s greatest monuments to medieval warfare. Resembling a typical early medieval fortress, with large imposing gateways, towers and high defending walls. Visit the Gayer Anderson house museum which you may remember from the James Bond movie "the Spy who loved me". It is noted for being one of the best-preserved examples of 17th-century domestic architecture left in Cairo, and also for Gayer-Anderson's vast collection of furniture, carpets, curio, and other objects. Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Al Moudira Hotel where you will have a Deluxe room. 06 (Friday) TEMPLE OF HATHOR, LUXOR MUSEUM
Depart the hotel at 8AM for a guided tour of the Temple of Hathor at Dendarah (about 43 miles north of Luxor). Returning to Luxor a visit to the Luxor Museum. Overnight Luxor (Buffet Breakfast)

07 (Saturday) DAHABEYA, TEMPLE OF KARNAK AND TEMPLE OF LUXOR
Staff transfers you to board your luxuriously appointed Dahabeya, Amirat. After Lunch, excursion to visit the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple. Dinner. Overnight moored on the Nile Banks of Luxor (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
08 (Sunday) NECROPOLIS, SAIL TO ESNA
Tour the burial places of Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings (where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922). Continue to the adjacent Valley of the Queens, the temple of Medinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch while sailing to Esna. Overnight Esna (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
09 (Monday) SAILING UPRIVER
A leisurely day sailing the Nile. Overnight moored beside a Nile Island (Buffet breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
10 (Tuesday) TEMPLE OF HORUS
Sail to Edfu. Visit the temple of Horus, the best preserved of all the Nile temples. Lunch while continuing to sail upriver. Anchor by an island on the Nile. (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
11 (Wednesday) SAILING UPRIVER
Sailing, enjoying the view of life along the river banks. Overnight anchored by a Nile Island. (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
12 (Thursday) TEMPLE OF TWO GODS, SAIL TO ASWAN
Sail to Kom Ombo. Arriving visit the temple of two gods and the new Crocodile museum. The temple is unique because its double design means that there are courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated to two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Overnight near Aswan (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
13 (Friday) TEMPLE OF PHILAE, UNFINISHED OBELISK, FLY TO CAIRO
Disembarkation at 8AM. Tour the Temple of Philae and the Pharaohs granite quarries with the unfinished obelisk. After the tour staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Cairo. Arriving staff transfers you to the Villa Belle Epoque where you will have a Deluxe room or if you have an early departure then the Le Meridien Airport hotel with a Deluxe room. Overnight Cairo (Buffet Breakfast)
Optional tour to Abu Simbel to see the famous temples of Ramses: $300 per person including transfers, flights in economy class, guided tour of the temples, entry fees, service charges and taxes. NOTE: If you take this optional tour then you would go from the boat to Abu Simbel, return to Aswan for the tour of Philae Temple and the granite quarries then fly to Cairo on an evening flight.
14 (Saturday) INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure or extend you stay to enjoy more of Egypt's history. (meals on the flight)
