You will have a private tour for this visit to Egypt, not herded around, thus allowing the time to absorb and experience the history and culture of one of the world's great treasures.
Antiquity sites you will tour include the Giza plateau, featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. The Egyptian Museum of antiquities where you will marvel at King Tut's treasures. Temples along the Nile from Aswan to Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and more are all part of your tour of Egypt. All costs associated with these visits including transportation, entry fees, guide, service charges and taxes are already included in the tour price.
Your hotels are first class and you will enjoy the comfort of superior or deluxe rooms. On the cruise your cabin will be located on the upper decks where you will have panoramic views of the Nile. Included meals are breakfasts daily plus lunch and dinner while on the cruise.
Day 01: (Saturday) ARRIVAL TO CAIRO
Arriving Cairo staff assists with clearing immigration and customs then transfers you to the Mena House hotel where you will have a pyramid view room or the Steigenberger Pyramids hotel with a Museum view room.

Day 02: (Sunday) GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM, FLY TO LUXOR
Spend the day on a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum featuring King Tut's treasures. Afterwards staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel or the Steigenberger Achti resort where you will have a Nile view room. Overnight Luxor

Day 03: (Monday) CRUISE, TEMPLES OF KARNAK AND LUXOR
Staff will meet you at the hotel lobby for transfer to your Deluxe Five Star Nile Cruiser, the M/S Mayfair or the M/S Acamar. Lunch on board then visit the East Bank of Luxor including the Temple of Luxor and Temple of Karnak. Dinner followed by Evening entertainment (please check with reception for the program schedule). Day 04: (Tuesday) NECROPOLIS OF THEBES, CRUISE TO EDFU
Enjoy a tour of Luxor's Necropolis of Thebes including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tour return to the ship for lunch while cruising to Esna. Cross the river lock and continue cruising to Edfu. Dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Cruise / Edfu

Day 05: (Wednesday) TEMPLE OF HORUS, TEMPLE OF TWO GODS, CRUISE TO ASWAN
Tour the Temple of Horus, the best preserved of all the Nile temples. Have lunch while cruising to Kom Ombo. Evening guided tour of the Temple of two gods. The building is unique because its double design means that there are courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Dinner while cruising to Aswan. Day 06: (Thursday) HIGH DAM, TEMPLE OF PHILAE, UNFINISHED OBELISK, FELUCCA
Tour the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk at the Pharaohs granite quarries. Following the tours return to the ship for lunch. Afternoon free to enjoy Aswan. Day 07: (Friday) FLY TO CAIRO, GIZA PLATEAU FEATURING THE GREAT PYRAMID AND SPHINX
Disembark the cruise. Staff will transfer you to the airport and assist with checking in for a flight to Cairo. Arriving, visit the Giza Plateau featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. After the tour staff will transfer you to the Le Meridien Airport Hotel or the Hilton Heliopolis. Overnight Cairo

Day 08: (Saturday) INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE OR ADD A RED SEA BEACH HOLIDAY
Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure or extend your tour with a Red Sea beach holiday to Hurghada or Sharm el Sheikh.
Tour Includes: Ground transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Domestic flights within Egypt pertaining to the tour in economy class. Baggage handling of no more than 1 piece of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour. Hotels (based on double occupancy). 5 star Nile cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath, individual climate control. Meals as noted.
